Tutoring Policies for Kihei Tutoring

effective as of June 1, 2025

 

CANCELLATION OF LESSONS BY PARENT

 

There will be a $25 cancelation fee assessed per each hour session missed. This includes all circumstances including but not limited to traffic, illness, vacation, and forgetting.

This $25 fee can only be avoided if the session is rescheduled and make-up on a different day.  

 

This fee will ensure that your spot is saved for you.

CANCELLATION OF LESSONS BY TEACHER

The teacher may cancel lessons by giving a prior notice to parents via text message in which case no fees shall be incurred.

TERMINATION

Either party may terminate the tutoring agreement at any time by giving the other party 14 days prior written notice or by text message. Full payment for those two weeks is expected.

 

REFUND POLICY

Please be aware that I have a No Refund Policy for all services.

 

OBLIGATIONS OF THE STUDENT

•Students agree to be prepared for every session by having all materials, utensils, homework, etc. ready at the start of their session.

•Students are responsible for their conduct and character during the tutoring session including promptness, respectful behavior, and staying on task.

 

OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARENT/GUARDIAN

•The parent/guardian is responsible for getting their child to the session on time and for picking up their child promptly as soon as the session has ended. Please send a test message if you will be more than 5 minutes late.

•The parent/guardian agrees to ensure that the student has completed all work assigned by the teacher within the timeframe given. (If applicable).

 

NO Guarantees

While I endeavor to provide the best educational services possible, I make no promises or guarantees in regards to a student’s performance as a result of any tutoring provided.

AGREEMENT FOR PAYMENT

Payment shall be made before or right after the start of a tutoring session.
